About us
South African Community Kopano (SACK) is a vibrant, non-profit community organisation based in Perth-Western Australia, dedicated to bringing South Africans together and fostering unity, cultural pride, and mutual support.
Founded on the spirit of Ubuntu, "I'm because we are", SACK provides a welcoming platform where families, individuals and young people can connect, celebrate heritage and support one another in a new homeland.
Our Mission
Our mission is to strengthen community bonds, promote cultural identity, and provide support networks that enhance the wellbeing of South Africans living in Western Australia. Through social, and community focused initiatives, we create opportunities for engagement, empowerment and belonging.
What Do We Do?
We host a variety of events through the year, including:
- Cultural celebrations
- Community Gatherings and family events
- Youth events
- Outreach and partnership with local communities
